5 Love Languages for Singles Class –
Cheyenne

This 1-Day Intensive Class is designed to give singles another way to show their family how much they care!  They will learn the types and key characteristics of the 5 Love Languages, their love language, and how to love their special someone in a “language” they understand.  This class also includes a session on Communication.  Communication is the vital and essential link to every aspect of our relationships. Singles will learn how to become an active listener and how to move from hinting and hoping to Say It! and much more.  YES-Childcare is available FREE! Training includes LUNCH!

Pick 2! - Cheyenne

Five of our best classes are presented in “mini” sessions! Couples, singles and teens can pick 2 classes from 5 different sessions. This 1-Day Intensive allows you to pick the topic you’re most interested in learning more about. 

·         Morning Options:

o   Five Love Languages - In this class you will learn the types and key characteristics of the 5 Love Languages, your love language, and how to love your special someone in a “language” they understand. Class is open to Couples.  Singles, and Teens can attend but the content is geared toward couples.

o   Po2 Communication - In this fun and interactive class singles, teens, and couples will learn how to become an active listener and how to move from hinting and hoping to Say It! and much more.  Class is open to couples, singles and teens.

·         Afternoon Options:

o   Money Habitudes - Habitudes is a non-threatening way for individuals to learn about their patterns of habits and attitudes (habitudes) about money that subconsciously influence their decisions all day, every day. (The class uses a unique deck of cards for instruction). These decisions--both big and small--can help individuals reach their personal and financial goals or sabotage their best intentions. Class is open to Couples, Singles, and Teens!

o   Active Parenting Now - Active parenting is a video-based discussion program. By teaching powerful communication and negotiation skills, Active Parenting helps couples and singles work successfully to raise children in traditional families as well as in the challenging stepfamily and single parent environments. Participants in this class receive a FREE Great Family Conversation Tool Kit! Class is open to Couples, and Single Parents!
o Teen Dating Survival Guide! - Lessons include: Am I Ready; Ask, Accept, or Decline; What's the Rush; How Relationships Grow; What Should I Say; Feeling Alone; and more. Class is open to Singles and Teens!

Communicating YOUR Love COUPLES & SINGLES Classes - Sheridan
2 classes offered (1 for SINGLES and 1 for COUPLES).  Both classes are based on Power of Two and the 5 Love Languages. This 1-Day Intensive Class is designed to give singles & couple’s another way to show their family/spouse how much they care!  They will learn the types and key characteristics of the 5 Love Languages, their love language, and how to love their special someone in a “language” they understand.  This class also includes a session on Communication.  Communication is the vital and essential link to every aspect of our relationships. Singles and couples will learn how to become an active listener and how to move from hinting and hoping to Say It! and much more.  YES-Childcare is available FREE! Training includes LUNCH!

Strengthening Your Stepfamily - Gillette
This Class has sessions for Couples & Single parents and their Children aged 5-14 (abbreviated version) sessions include how the stepfamily experience is different from the first family experience; how to let go of the myths and unrealistic expectations and build strong family bonds; learning family communication and conflict resolution skills; and parenting skills in the step-family setting.  Sessions include both lectures and hands on learning activities.  Instruction is based on Active Parenting for SF, Designing Dynamic SF, Empowering Couples, Power of Two, Smart Steps, and the Smart Stepfamily.

    and Saturday November 7th,
    8:30 am- 4:30pm

Empowering Couples - Casper
This class has all the elements needed to help couples build and strengthen their marriage or relationship. Class sessions include: communication, conflict resolution, role relationships, children & parenting, finances, goal setting and more. Class format includes couple assessment to identify strengths and weakness (opportunities to grow!); video clips to aid in understanding; skill building activities; and small group discussion.

  • Location: Marriage Resource Center

  • Participant Fee: $10 per family includes Friday dinner and Saturday lunch.  (scholarships available)
